#19 // Oldboy (2003) Continuing with my list of 60 favourite films is the second installment in Chan-Wook Park’s Vengeance Trilogy, Oldboy. Simply put this is one heck of a revenge film with one of the best plot twists of the last decade. It took awhile for me to watch this, but the movie never disappointed when I finally got around to viewing it. I did end up reading the manga this was based on prior to the film, but there was still enough major differences between the two versions to enjoy both. After watching this movie, it’s not that hard to see why it’s considered a modern classic.
