The Grey

To be honest the only problem I had with the movie was two product placements. A Canada Goose jacket—though fitting the environment—only because I’m so self-conscious now about all the people who wear them and an oil-rigger on the plane wearing Beats by Dre headphones. What kind of fucking oil-rigger in Alaska wears fucking Beats? Other than that, great movie with a great ending.

Back from the theatre

Absolutely had a great time watching both The Grey and Man on a Ledge.

Now I love The Grey and I totally get why people are angry about the ending; however, people need to understand why it ends that way and that any other ending would have just ruined the rest of the movie. I will honestly call you a dumb fuck if you wanted some bullshit Hollywood ending for the movie.

As for Man on a Ledge, it’s a pretty good heist film. Not the best by any means, but it’s fun with a solid cast of actors. They dropped the ball with both Ed Harris’ and Anthony Mackie’s characters and the final act of the film is pretty generic, but I was really into the first two acts of the film and really wished that the marketing for the film hadn’t released all the details to Nick Cassidy’s character. Overall, still fun.
